Your help is urgently needed, whether through prayers, volunteering as a coach, commissioner, and/or financial and more – however God leads you. Your obedience to Him will not only bless the children and others but bless you as well. So whether you are considering or wanting to know more about our needs for this children’s ministry through Upward, feel free to call me at 512-828-3336 or e-mail me at this address. Your every effort to reach out to our children and within our church community is appreciated. Time is crucial and I need volunteers as soon as possible. So please help us make this possible for our children in our church and the children within our community at High Pointe Baptist Church .
God bless you all and may this year bring Honor, Glory, and Praise to Him that enables us to do great things. God bless.
“As the body without spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead” – James 2:26.

I got back from Game Day #5 a few hours ago and I’m still excited for several reasons!
1) My girls played great! Yes I’m biased, but still, they blew me away! Way to go Eagles!
2) No rain! Praise the Lord! He kept the rain away the whole morning, there were a few sprinkles around 10:30am, but it all held off until we were done.
3) The field was completely set-up by 7:35AM this morning! Thanks to SO many volunteers that came out to help. Thanks to Coaches Luis and Charles for lining the fields on Friday.
4) Clean-up was a breeze, so fast and efficient, thanks again to so many that pitched in to make it go faster.
5) The testimonies that were shared were clear and LOUD, amen! Thanks a million to David Giles for working with our PA system and getting it to the maximum working capacity.
I’ll stop at 5, but I really could go on! God is good and it was a blessing to see Him manifested in our Upward team this morning!

Hello Upward Soccer Enthusiasts!
Its a blessing to see the children show up and eager to play every week. One of the stars the coaches hand out is for displaying “sportsmanship”. I got to watch my son’s team play this weekend and there was a wonderful display of sportsmanship through out the game. When a player fell down there were members from both the teams stopping to help them up. It was so evident that everyone was talking about it after the game. Now that’s a blessing to see your child build character!
Please keep praying for the children as they learn the game and learn about Christ!
Hello everyone,
I am sad to say game is cancelled. However, the grass will be greener next time we play on the field thanks to God. A few reasons come into play into this decision.
1. It’s still raining
2. More heavy rain is on its way
3. Muddy, though fun to play in, our children may get hurt severely…..broken ankles, broken something you get the picture
4. If we play in this mud, we will damage the nice field left we have. Which can lead to new pot holes, uneven ground, dead grass and so on……..
In Christ,
Augi Bacolor
Dear Upward enthusiasts!
Please be advised that we will update the blog with any cancellation information about 30-45 minutes before the game. As far as we know at this moment, it’s about a 30% chance of rain around 8-10am.
See y’all there tomorrow!
