Life Groups

The Christian life is never meant to be lived alone. We need one another for ongoing encouragement, help, and even rebuke so that we can persevere in faith and obedience to Christ (Heb. 3:12-14). At High Pointe, we believe that Life Groups (LGs) are an excellent means by which we help one another grow and persevere in the faith.

When and where do Life Groups meet?

LGs meet on 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays in the homes of various members of HPBC (not necessarily in the homes of LG leaders). A few Life Groups choose to meet weekly, and thus don’t normally meet on Sunday nights. Because the High Pointe Institute and Student Ministry Gathering meet on Wednesday nights, we discourage LGs from scheduling their meetings on Wednesday nights.

Who can join a Life Group?

LGs are for members of HPBC or those in the membership process. We encourage all members of HPBC to be a part of a LG.

How do I join a Life Group?

New members are placed in an available life group that best suits their schedule and location. However, if you are a member and currently aren’t in a life group but would like to be, you can contact Scott Cope (scott@highpointeaustin.org) to find a group that works best for you.
