Ministry Training Program

“And [Christ] gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds, and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” (Eph. 4:11-13)
Every Christian is meant to share in the “work of ministry,” as Paul puts it. There is no side-line Christian or bench-warming Christian according to the New Testament. We all have a job to do (namely, evangelizing and discipling) and we are meant to be equipped for that job.

On Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 pm, all are welcome to attend “The Ministry Training Program,” a course-based program meant to equip us all for the work of ministry by delving deeply into God’s Word and theology.
This fall semester we will study Systematic Theology III. We will study the doctrines of salvation (soteriology), the Holy Spirit (pneumatology), the church (ecclesiology), and end times (eschatology). The course will run from September 6 to November 29 (except Nov. 22 for Thanksgiving). There is no cost for the class, though each student will need to purchase books on their own.

Register for the class here. Parents: be sure to register your children as well if they will need childcare (Note: childcare available for infants through kindergarten).
