Parking

You are welcome to pick any open parking space you like.  We have reserved some close in parking spaces for you, our guest, just take a left as your enter the parking lot.  If you require a handicap accessible parking space, follow the parking lot around to the right for the designated spaces.

If you prefer to drop off your passengers before parking, please keep right as you enter the parking area and proceed to the covered dropoff at the front doors.

Getting Inside

You may enter the building through any of the glass exterior doors.  Inside the front foyer you will find a Welcome Center staffed with friendly faces ready to help you with any questions, information or directions you might need.  You can also pick up a “Getting to Know High Pointe” packet that includes some information for our guest as well as a sermon on CD and a greeting from our pastor.

While in the front foyer area take a moment to study the large mural above the doors or browse the resources available in the information racks or at the Media Resource Center.  Water fountains and restrooms are located either side of the Foyer in the side halls.

As you proceed into the sanctuary, you will be greeted by ushers who will hand you a worship folder which includes information on today’s service, upcoming events and other information about the church.  You are welcome to pick any seat; if you need help finding a seat the ushers will assist you.

Children

Children are a blessing to us at High Pointe! We welcome your children in services as it is a joy to see families worshipping together. We also provide a Children’s Church and nursery rooms for your younger children.

Nursery

Comfortable nursery rooms with brightly painted murals and caring nursery workers are available for babies through preschoolers (under kindergarten) throughout the Worship Service. The nursery area is located in the northwest corner of the building. As you enter the nursery area you will be greeted by nursery leaders who will lead you to the appropriate class for your child. At the door to your child’s room you will meet the Lead Teacher for that class who will help you complete a 3-part security sticker.

If the nursery area is not the place for your baby, we have a Mother-Infant room (especially for nursing mothers) that is accessed through the library. The library door faces the front foyer. Once in the library, just head through the back door into the Mother-Infant room.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is offered to kindergarten through 2nd graders. The children will begin the service with you and stay through the Praise and Worship time. Listen for the pastor to dismiss the children to Children’s Church at the beginning of his sermon. If you choose for your children to participate in Children’s Church, you are welcome to walk out with them at this time, or to send them with the children and adults who will be leaving for the children’s service. The children will flow out the East doors of the sanctuary and proceed up the stairs. Our Children’s Church room is located at the top of the stairs and to the left. This is also where you will pick up your K-2nd grade children after the Worship Service.

Children are a valued part of our church life and we strive to help parents and their children feel welcome!
