Children are a gift from God and it is our privilege to provide a safe and creative environment that directs them toward the love of Jesus Christ. Children’s ministry is available for infants through fifth grade and you can learn more below. If you have any questions, email our Children’s Ministry Director, Erin Wyman.
Infants – Pre-K | First floor
We offer a safe nursery environment for children (infants through Pre-K) during the Sunday worship services and during our Life Class hour. In the nursery, preschoolers enjoy Bible stories, games, songs, and many other exciting activities on Sunday mornings and are cared for by loving, nurturing teachers.
K-4th Grade | Family Overflow Room (first floor) | 9 am
In addition to our adult Life Classes (9 am), we offer 1 Kids’ Life Class for children (K-5th grade). In our Kids’ Life Class, we utilize the The Gospel Project that walks kids through the sweep of biblical redemptive history. This Kids’ Life Class is available whenever the adult classes are taking place. See the schedule here.
K- 4th grade | East Training Room (second floor)
While we love for families to worship together, we do offer KidsPointe as a gospel-centered alternative for children (K-5th grade) during the morning worship service. Children are dismissed during the morning worship service (at the start of the sermon). During the large group time, adults teach gospel-rich lessons using curriculum from Truth78. The concepts presented during the large group lesson are then reinforced through various small group activities.
For children attending KidsPointe for the first time we require a registration form to be filled out. Please fill this form out and bring it with you when you drop your child(ren) off for the first time.
3-years old through 6th grade | 2nd and 4th Sundays at 5pm
During our evening Prayer Services (2nd and 4th Sundays | 5:00pm – 6:30pm) we have an AWANA program for the children of High Pointe. They will also meet on Members' Meeting nights.
The purpose of AWANA is to assist parents in the evangelism and discipleship of their children by helping children memorize Scripture and learn the core doctrines of Christianity using the New City Catechism.

Our Child Protection Policy is in place at High Pointe to keep our children safe. This means we do everything from background checking all caregivers, requiring workers to go through our child protection training, to keeping careful classroom adult to child ratios. If you’ve been a member of High Pointe for longer than 6 months and would like to learn more about serving in our children's ministry, contact our Children’s Ministry Director, Erin Wyman.
