About Us
Longhorn Christian Fellowship desires to glorify God by walking with individuals and helping them dive deeper into their understanding and love for Jesus Christ. We aim to help all people grow in their faith through Christian community, biblical teaching, and loving accountability. Weekly LCF activities include one-on-one discipleship, small group Bible studies, and corporate worship.
Our Mission
We exist to engage the cultures on campus to explore, encounter, and embody Christ.
"We exist to engage"
God gives all believers a purpose to glorify and enjoy Him forever while connecting with people around us and inviting them to do the same. (1 Thessalonians 2:8)
"the cultures on campus"
The University of Texas' 50,000+ students all have their own unique life story. In the Bible, the gospel celebrates and gathers diverse people in and under Christ's reign (Colossians 3:11).
"explore, encounter, and embody Christ"
Everyone is at a different place in their spiritual journey. In his ministry, Jesus engages the skeptic, the religious, and the outcast, drawing them to find ultimate meaning, satisfaction, acceptance in Him (John 4:7-15).
"Explore"
A lot of people have questions about what they have heard or are hearing for the first time regarding Christianity. LCF will be a place to answer those questions and learn about truths essential to the faith.
"Encounter"
As individuals explore Christianity it is our prayer that those who don't know Jesus, would encounter Him as Lord and Savior through the recognition of sin, repentance, and trust in Christ.
"Embody Christ"
The Gospel is not only for salvation, but for us to grow in knowledge and appreciation of the grace of God. LCF seeks to walk alongside believers to become wholehearted followers of Christ.

If you are in the area, whether you are a student at UT or ACC, taking a gap year, or working, we would love to have you join us! We meet on UT's campus to study God's Word and grow in understanding who he is and has to say to us.
