The High Pointe Institute

“And [Christ] gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds, and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” (Eph. 4:11-13)
Every Christian is meant to share in the “work of ministry,” as Paul puts it. There is no side-line Christian or bench-warming Christian according to the New Testament. We all have a job to do (namely, to make and be disciples of Jesus Christ) and we are meant to be equipped for that job. On Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 pm (during the fall and spring semesters), all are welcome to attend the High Pointe Institute, a course-based program meant to equip us all for the work of ministry by delving deeply into God’s Word and theology.

Which classes are offered this semester?

There will be three classes offered in the spring:
  • Theology track: Christian Ethics (Register Here)
  • Women’s Bible Study: Tracing the Themes of Scripture (Register Here)
  • Counseling track: Young Marrieds (email with any questions)

Who can attend the High Pointe Institute?

The classes are open to anyone who desires to grow biblically and theologically. (In other words, a person does not have to be a member to attend.) The High Pointe Institute is meant to work in conjunction with Resolved Student Ministry (6th-12th grade), which also meets at High Pointe on Wednesday evenings.

What are the times/dates for the HP Institute?

The High Pointe Institute takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm during the fall and spring semesters. The current semester will run for 12 weeks (date TBD). There will not be any “off” weeks during that time.
