Vacation Bible School June 2-5, 2024
Children, teens, and adults are invited to High Pointe Baptist Church for Vacation Bible School, June 2-5, 6:00 - 8:30 pm. We are planning a fun-filled, Bible-centered week that you won't want to miss. We'll close it all out on Wednesday evening, with Family Night complete with a VBS worship rally for the whole family, food, inflatables, face painting, a petting zoo, and more -- all for free! Life Classes
Life Classes are meant to equip High Pointe for life as a Christian. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and join us. This session, we are offering the following classes from April 7 to May 26:
• Relationships: A Mess Worth Making (Livingston Room)
• Relaciones: Un Lío que Vale la Pena Hacer (East Training Room)
• Kids Life Class (Overflow Room/Old Mission Room)
• Membership class (Old Library) | Our Meaningful Membership Class is offered on Sunday mornings as well.
On-Call Pastor
To better care for you, High Pointe, we have an “on-call” pastor available for emergencies after office hours and on weekends. To reach the on-call pastor, call 512-837-7725, extension 1.
Preaching Schedule: Pray regularly for the ministry of the Word at High Pointe. Also, prepare for our gatherings by reading the sermon text, thinking it through, and asking questions about the text before Sunday. Here is our (tentative) preaching schedule designed to help you prepare for Sundays:
• April 28 | Judges 3:7-11, Pastor Juan
• May 5 | Judges 3:12-31, Pastor Juan
Gospel Partner of the Month: The Association of Churches for Missions and Evangelism (ACME)
We are introducing a new section in our weekly e-newsletter. To help you learn about our gospel partners, we will feature a new one each month. This month, we are featuring ACME.
ACME exists to unite and mobilize like-minded churches to fund pastors, church planters, missionaries, and other projects around the world. To learn more, visit ACME online.
