5th Sunday Fellowship

From Pastor Robert

This week, I want to encourage you to make plans to be present for our 5th Sunday Fellowship featuring ICE CREAM, singing, and ministry updates. You will also have a chance to hear briefly about discipleship spaces in place to grow as whole-hearted followers of Jesus this fall.

This is a time for our church family to relax together and get to know one another better as we head into the fall season. 5th Sunday Fellowships are intended to help us connect every quarter around simple food, dessert or snacks.

We plan to have some sort of church wide fellowship time on the 5th Sundays of the months in the coming church year:

Gospel Partner of the Month: 9Marks exists to help pastors, future pastors, and church members build healthy churches. To this end, 9Marks creates resources like books, podcasts, a quarterly journal, web courses, and more. They also host training events around the world. Their focus in everything is on nine marks of a healthy church—expositional preaching, gospel doctrine, conversion and evangelism, church membership, church discipline, discipleship and growth, church leadership, prayer, and missions. Why these nine? Because the Bible requires them, and, sadly, too many evangelical churches have neglected or assumed them.

On-Call Pastor To better care for you, High Pointe, we have an “on-call” pastor available for emergencies after office hours. To reach the on-call pastor, call 512-837-7725, extension 1.
