Women’s Morning and Evening Bible Study
Join us for a welcoming and enriching time of fellowship and study at our Women’s Bible Study! We offer two sessions that meet during the fall and spring semesters on Wednesdays: a morning group meets from 10:00–11:30 AM and an evening group meets from 6:30–8:00 PM.
MORNING BIBLE STUDY
WEDNESDAYS, JANUARY 28 – APRIL 22
10:00AM - 11:30AM
Join us as we continue our study of the Gospel of John! We will cover chapters 10-21 in the spring. The apostle John masterfully proclaims the deity of Christ through His signs, the testimonies concerning Him, and His own teaching. The truths in this Gospel are simple and yet profound. You will grow in your knowledge of and love for Jesus as we dive into each chapter, week by week.
We will pursue the following questions:
What do I need to believe about Jesus?
What does it mean to believe?
Why do I need to believe?
THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS JANUARY 14. If you miss the deadline, you will be responsible for ordering your Bible Study directly from Precepts and be responsible for paying tax and shipping.
EVENING BIBLE STUDY
WEDNESDAYS, JANUARY 28 – MAY 6
6:30PM - 8:00PM
This semester we will be studying Ezra-Nehemiah. Why the Old Testament? The Old Testament was the "scripture that Jesus read," and He told us that it was about Him. These two books are the last biblical history we have of Israel before the 400 year silence between the testaments. They tell us how God continued to show His steadfast love towards His people, bringing them out of exile and back to the land He had given them.
We will see how Israel responds to these two leaders called by God to help them rebuild their city - including the temple that had been destroyed by Babylon- and restore their worship. We will also discuss how to read OT history, what to do with lists and genealogies, and most importantly how these books point us to Christ so that we grow to love Him more.
T2G (Titus 2 Groups)
A discipleship ministry of High Pointe in which a small group of younger women meet monthly with two older women to read and discuss a chapter of a book together. The goal of T2G is to spur one another on in spiritual growth while building intergenerational relationships among the women of the church.
