Solo A Dios La Gloria
High Pointe Baptist Church is excited to partner with Coalicion por el Evangelio to host a Spanish-language conference: "To God Alone Be the Glory (Solo A Dios La Gloria)." The conference will center on the Solas of the Christian faith with the aim of deepening participants' clarity and conviction when preaching the Gospel as well as provide encouragement for how to live faithfully in these times.

Young Adult Lunch
The Young Adults will be meeting for lunch at MOD Pizza (500 W Canyon Ridge Dr Suite J100, Austin, TX 78753)after the morning service on August 24 at 12:15PM.
High Pointe Institute
The High Pointe Institute (HPI) is a one-year training program meant to offer a pathway for growing disciples to be equipped for ministry both in the church and the world. The goal is to form mature disciples who are growing in their knowledge and love for God, who are committed to the church’s mission, and who are devoted to helping others follow Christ. HPI will instill a commitment to Scripture and a better grasp of the biblical storyline, a solid foundation in Christian doctrine, and an increasing ability to connect theology to Christian living.
Women's Evening Bible Study
Time: Wednesdays 6:30pm - 8:00pm, August 27th - December 3rd.
Ladies, you are invited to join us for an in-depth study of the Book of Hebrews. The book is considered one of the most beautifully written books of the New Testament. It stands apart from other biblical books in its unique portrait of Jesus Christ as the supreme revelation of God. We will gain a clear and detailed understanding of exactly how and why there is nothing more wonderful, more satisfying, and more extraordinary than Jesus. Hebrews will help us understand the overall story of the Bible – the entire scope of redemptive history and show us how Christ fulfilled it all.
Each weekly lesson includes home study questions, interactive group discussion, and teaching by study leaders. You do not need to be a member of High Pointe to attend.

Morning Women's Bible Study
Time: Wednesdays 10 AM - 11:30 AM, September 10 - November 19.
Join us for an inductive study of the Gospel of John! We will cover chapters 1-9 this fall and chapters 10-21 in the spring. The apostle John masterfully proclaims the deity of Christ through His signs, the testimonies concerning Him, and His own teaching. The truths in this Gospel are simple and yet profound. You will grow in your knowledge of and love for Jesus as we dive into each chapter, week by week.

Young Adult Lunch

This event is BYOL (bring your own lunch), so food will not be provided.

Ladies Bunco Night
Please join us for a fun evening of Bunco on Saturday, August 2 from
6:00 PM to 8:30PM at the church! There is no cost to attend this event; however, participants must bring a bag of candy to participate in the Bunco game.
Young Adult Lunch
Please join the Young Adults for lunch on Sunday, July 27 after the morning service at 12:15pm. This month, the lunch will be potluck style at Keziah Chacko’s house (2309 Langdale Ln, Austin TX 78754).

This event will be indoors and in the backyard, so bring lawn games (spikeball, cornhole, etc.) and board games!
Meaningful Membership Class
If you’re interested in learning more about High Pointe or pursuing membership with High Pointe, please mark your calendars Membership Class. This class will cover three main questions: What is the church and why should I join, what does High Pointe believe, and what do we expect of church members at High Pointe.
Ice Cream Social & Painter Family Send-Off
Join us at High Pointe on Sunday, June 29 at 5:00 PM for an ice cream social! The church will provide the ice cream, but please bring your favorite toppings. This event will be a time of fellowship and also serve as a send-off for the Painter Family as they prepare to leave.

The Senior's 55+ are having a luncheon at Luby's on East Anderson Lane next Sunday, June 29th after the morning service.
Women's Neighborhood Dinner
Ladies, please join your High Pointe neighbors for dinner Saturday, June 14! The deadline to register for this event is Sunday, June 8. There will be several locations across the Austin area, so you can choose your own neighborhood and enjoy extended conversation and fellowship with other High Pointe women in your area!
Men’s “Walking Together” Group
Men, please join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM from June 11-August 13 as we meet to study God’s Word and read The Blessings of Humility by Jerry Bridges.
Vacation Bible School
At this year's VBS, take a ride out west with us to Wonder Junction to focus on the greatest wonder of all, Jesus! High Pointe's VBS is for everyone! There are many ways you can participate the week of and even before VBS begins! Online registration opens today. Please register NOW to volunteer, to attend (kids, teens, adult classes in English & Spanish), and to provide snack items.
Annual Memorial Day Picnic
It’s time for our annual Memorial Day Picnic. Join us on Sunday evening, May 25, at 5:00 PM as we gather as a church for fellowship, fun, and BBQ. Bring the whole family!
The church will provide the BBQ, but members are being asked to bring the sides and desserts. If your last name begins with the letters A-G, bring hot sides. H-L bring cold sides. M-Z, bring desserts. Teens and college students, bring beverages.
Please bring your own folding chairs and blankets if you are planning to eat outside, and bring outside yard games for a fun family church activity! If anyone would like to volunteer for helping to set-up/clean-up please reach out to Beth Hyman for more details
