Welcome Peter Westerfeld and Family
It is a joy to welcome Peter Westerfeld and his family to High Pointe and to Austin. Peter is our new Director of Church Operations and Administration. Peter is married to Abigail, and they have five children 6 years old and under.
Peter grew up on a farm near Crawford, Texas, alongside his nine siblings. After graduating from high school, he continued working on the family farm while completing an undergraduate degree through Liberty University. At age 23, Peter married Abigail in Colorado Springs, and they moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where Peter began his MDiv studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
During their seven years in Louisville, the Westerfelds were members of Third Avenue Baptist Church, which became a cherished church family to them. Over that time, the Lord blessed them with five children: Rilian (6), Bryce (4), Gilbert (2), Marcus (2), and Priscilla (10 months).
As Director of Operations and Administration, Peter will oversee our operational, financial and administrative effectiveness, and offer general pastoral support as we seek to glorify God by making wholehearted followers of Christ among all peoples.
Take time to welcome the Westerfelds.
