Persevere in Hope: Christ Our Savior, our Hope, our Peacemaker
Isaiah’s vision of King Jesus encourages us to hold onto hope, even when life feels hopeless. This King, unlike any earthly ruler, is filled with the Spirit—wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and reverence for God. Jesus judges righteously, cares for the poor, and looks beyond outward appearances, weighing the heart.
As Christ’s followers, we are called to imitate Him—living out the fruit of the Spirit and pursuing peace even in the midst of conflict. Instead of sowing discord, we seek unity, striving to live at peace with everyone as much as we are able (Romans 12:18).
Facing conflict or feeling offended? Let it be an opportunity to show the gospel and demonstrate Christ-like love. Begin by meeting with God in prayer: confess any wrong attitudes, receive His forgiveness, and ask for wisdom. Remember Jesus’ humble, sacrificial love—even toward His enemies. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you respond like Christ in every situation.
There are times when conflict requires careful and wise conversations. Be ready, though for God to change your perspective when you first come to him in prayer.

Parents interested in serving in KidsPointe are encouraged to contact Erin Wyman.

4. Pray for the K family’s financial provision.
